The Universe Within, the Universe Without
This painting portrays how vast and beautiful the universe is outside of us. Too awesome to even comprehend. Yet here through her painting she shows us how that this amazing universe exists within us. This spiraling universal energies you see are not only connected to us, but exist within our spiritual body. The contemplative figure emphasizes that we can reach into these great mysteries when we meditate.

Elizabeth writes in here October 2012 journal, “Enlightenment of our vast being of this amazing universe, dwells only in silence. The core teaching of Buddha states, Focus on the Universe within. Buddha’s teaching also entails, the concept of the mind is as restless as a monkey. Therefore you need to acknowledge I AM calm. I control my mind like a rider controls his horse. Only in silence can we make the mind free of it’s restlessness.”
